The Skyrunner from Parajet seems to be a very versatile land and air vehicle suitable for many shtf scenarios. Thinking about bugging out after a multi-day failure of services? Nothing will beat freeway traffic jams more than an all terrain buggy that just up and flies away.
The Parajet Skyrunner features a rear-mounted propeller and uses some kickass paraglider wing technology. The type that absorbs turbulence and keeps the vehicle stable during extreme pitch and roll maneuvers.
How it works? Just take the shute out of the back and place it behind the car, accelerate to 59.5kph (37mph) and lift off. Interesting tidbit: the Skyrunner can accelerate from 0 to 100kmh (62mph) in 4.3 seconds. Although, not ever having paraglided myself, I’m not sure you wanna put the pedal to the metal quite that hard when you have a shute tied to the back of your car.
If anything goes wrong with the engine, don’t worry. You won’t come crashing down as the SkyRunner will simply float to the ground. There’s even a ballistic reserve chute just in case.

Check out the Skyrunner in action.
Pros:
Fairly safe, since you can glide down with the (reserve) shute.
Cons:
Only one passenger, so your bugging out alone.
Not EMP proof.
