I love the Walking Dead. It doesn’t make any science sense; how can a rotting corpse, a corpse with, like, no muscles, defy gravity and walk? Don’t know, don’t care. But the rest of the show is like every nightmare I’ve ever had. Running for my life from people chasing me, barely getting away and only getting a moments rest before they’re right behind me again. Action packed nightmares I get.
But that’s not what I wanna talk about. I wanna talk about what I imagined I’d do if shtf and I was on the road with zombies lurking everywhere. Hammocks! I would tie that sucker up high enough for them to walk right beneath me while I slept. I did wonder about back pain ’cause hammocks tend to bend. They’re a great place to visit but could I really live there, you know. I also wondered about rain, and the extra weight of rain covers and such if your carrying all your crap on your back. Maybe bring a tent instead. Say what you want, a good tent will always keep you warm and dry.
I wondered until today that is. The Tentsile Connect Tree Tent takes the best of hammocks and tents and merges them into a tent you tie up in the trees. Perfect! The zombie horde may now pass beneath me as I leisurely stretch my legs in my awesome tree tent.
Now the Connect isn’t the first tent to get strung up in a tree but it gets extra points from me for the fact that you can tie multiple Connects together to make some kind of awesome hanging tent camp with your fellow survivors. Literally hanging out together. Video runtime 1:06.
